Learn something new everyday in Clash world.

Wahington Bullets : The marimba part is an altered version of the melody from "Turkey in the Straw".

Cool find. I hear a faint element of Lose This Skin in there too. The motif that starts in the beginning is "while we're young and almost free" from LTS, notewise (I think).

edit: plus it's played before that lyric
Yep agree Chuck I hear that alao.

New Jersey March 8 1980 is a super clean recording. Very pleasant boot.

Don't remember that one. I will check it out. :approve:

Edit : Oh well I knew this one of course. Capital Theater and the video. The Capital Crisis bootleg CD was available for years.

Am thinking of popping along to this if I'm in the clear saturday morning, could have worse days than listening to the old crew telling their old war stories I reckon.

Unable to walk very well due to having extreme gout. I have had steroid injections in my ankles and I've been off work this past 4 months. Medication failed and I'm slowly being weaned onto some meds I had previously 20 years ago. All sent to try and all that.

Oh no. I hope you get well soon. That really sucks, MD. I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope the new (old) meds work.

It's down to both mate. I have to watch what I eat very carefully.
