I think if it had a melodic section that came in as a refrain once in a while (somewhat like RAD), it could be improved enormously. Saying this as someone who likes it.

Dexys and The Specials were as big as The Clash in terms of success. Both of those band's have the same pulling power as The Clash and you know full well if Bernie was involved for more than 5 minutes then they only exist because of him.
