I can't even imagine where Joe got the SG from, it must have been from another punk band on tour at the time. Mick never played one himself. Check out the photo, what the hell is going on with Paul. I think that he is freaked out because he can't remember the bass line and he is praying that Mick will help him out. Best part of the photo is Topper in action, slamming his sticks high in the air letting fury have the hour.

I'm willing to bet $$ that the SG belongs to Brian James, major SG player.
Same guitar with Vibrola tailpiece. Even the strap is exactly the same...
