I like Joes's brothel creepers though.

I like the black suede GC creepers that Joe, Mick, Paul & Topper all wore. I have a pair.

Yeah, they look great. The problem for me is that the crepe soles are so thick and heavy that I find it rather difficult to walk. The soles don't give/flex like the thinner sole creepers.
