Maybe a "back to our roots, but not really" album after seeing the popularity of pop-punk bands like Blink 182.

I actually would've found an Unplugged performance cool, given that the Busking tour worked pretty well for them.
Both of these options would be fucking awesome.
There. I said it.

I blacked out on the floor and went into immediate rigor mortis sometime during the North and South keyboard solo.
In all honesty, after the topsy turvy second half, my brain is pretty much mush by the time I get here. "TIE" - oh this one is alright. "TCT" - really catchy even if it is a terrible bastard. "Fingerpoppin'" - ... "Play to Win" - RAGH! N&S - Hey I kind of like this one. It is too much okay songs to horrid shit songs alternating that LIW just doesn't register.

This song reminds me of what Nick said, when I first interviewed him all about this stuff...of reaching the point where he hadn't a critical faculty left in his body anymore, 'cause nobody would have listened, anyway. Hearing this train wreck of a song, it's easy to see why he said that.

Hey, remember when the official Life Is Wild lyrics were printed in that weird booklet? Does anyone have a link to it or do they know the correct lyrics?

So random. Would love to get the verse lyrics some day too. I don't think my interpretation was accurate:
You have to reek one I suppose
It's a door in a Cuban pie

This is EXACTLY what I wanted a new Clash album to sound like in 1984. Gerald is a genius.

I agree 100%, but I thought I read somewhere that Gerard was also going to work on the other songs that didn't make the album. It that true or just a fantasy?

He's got a new EP with the tracks, so give him a holler and see what's what.
