Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop

Re: Terrible Clash Covers
You picked the worst track off CTC.
What I meant to say was, the Clash II's backup chants and Sham 69's whole discography are nearly identical if played simultaneously.

I think you're underestimating what a freakishly oblique slice of music CtC really is.Chuck Mangione wrote:What I meant to say was, the Clash II's backup chants and Sham 69's whole discography are nearly identical if played simultaneously.
I'm surprised that Heston likes Cock Sparrer, but not Sham 69. They're filed away into the same place in my head.

Re: Terrible Clash Covers
Now there are two bands which are reasonable to liken together musically. Cock Sparrer is better, by my estimation, but Shock Troops ain't exactly worlds apart from Sham 69's oeuvre.Silent Majority wrote:I'm surprised that Heston likes Cock Sparrer, but not Sham 69. Re: Terrible Clash Covers
Yeah, I definitely prefer Cock Sparrer. It's that elegant guitar sound that follows through to Boston Oi! that I especiallly like in the few modern day punk bands that do anything for me.Flex wrote:Now there are two bands which are reasonable to liken together musically.
