Have just found this show on a hard drive with the following info file - hopefully this clears up the date..

Mick Jones
28 September 1991
Palladium
New York, NY

DAT(M)>wav(16/48)>EQ/ peak normalized 0.5 dB>flac
R: Sony ECM-919->Sony TCD-D3
T: Tascam DA-20 MKII (coax)->Audigy 4 Pro (bit accurate, running kX drivers)

01. Innocent Child
02. Other 99
03. When the Time Comes (partial)
04. V. Thirteen

-notes: recorded by Rich's friend (unknown) w/ Rich's gear, on loan from stonecutter (Rich B.). Here's a real rarity for ya, Mick solo. Rich hopes you enjoy it! The levels on this one were a tad high (this was recorded before the Crowded House set). There may have been some slight clipping in spots, but mostly just loud, so I normalized it to -0.5 dB. I also EQ'd down some crowd noise that approached 0dB.

I hate to be the obsessive moaning nerd again, but the first song Innocent Child appears twice at the start of Seb's original post.
Not a complaint, merely an observation!
I'm sure it can be fixed to make one master version (there's a wee bit of extra chat at the start of one which is missing on the repeat)
And yes, what a fascinating discovery - thanks to all for the extra info - and a really nice performance. Mick sounds in great spirits, and great voice.

Looked in my files and see this show was for WDRE-FM. Also, I remember whatever backing tracks were played back on a boombox.
