Marky's new remasters thread

Post by Marky Dread »

I will post any of my new remasters here. The Clash and other bands will be here.

The Clash stuff can go on the main list that XRCF hosts after it's had it's customary two week run here. CDS can convert to mp3s also he would like to.

So grab stuff when you can as if it is non Clash stuff it will be just the two weeks only.

Enjoy and be nice!

Thank Marky! I'm replacing the version I grabbed from XRCF's folder of your remasters yesterday.

You can keep both. The only thing I didn't include this time 'round was the final announcement which is a bit superfluous.

This gig has atmosphere now.

No I didn't. That's me, my mum and Doris from over the road.😉

No seriously the crowd sounds are a mixture of the original and various crowd sounds from FHTE.

good job! It looks great with photos by Bob Gruen and the colors of the Jamaican flag.
Did you use your previous source for I Fought the Law?
Tonight, after putting the offspring to bed, I will listen to him calmly under the cover of darkness and a glass of good red wine.
Thanks Marky!

It was a layering process of taking the old crowd noise then grabbing the stuff from FHTE then adding them together. Then add little bits of cheering as songs end and slightly increase the volume inbetween the tracks. Then I made another one long file of crowd noise for an hour and lightly mixed that in to the whole thing. Bit of a work of art really. But it worked great.

Wow, nice one, Marky, looking forward to giving it a spin.

Great artwork, too, as usual. Those pictures remind me of a (slightly altered) Pennie Smith quote: "It's handy to remember that black skin photographs the same as night."
