Used to think the line "The harder they come the home of old movie" was "The harder they come the home of old bluebeat" which would still have been great and make sense.
You were right first time round mate, it is Bluebeat. ;)
Cheers Heston i'm sure i've read it in one of the songbooks as old movie.
The songbooks and album sleeves are sometimes contradictory with each other, but using common sense and the law of averages you can come to a common consensus.
Cut the Crap is an exception, I've yet to see an accurate representation of the lyrics in any songbook or webpage. The three songs printed in the CTC inner-sleeve are accurate, but outside of that I think only Joe knew.

I've just found out the line in the Beach Boys song is "Fun fun fun til Daddy takes the T-Bird away". I always thought it was "til Daddy takes the team away" as if he were a football coach or something.

Wow, way to make that song even gayer. That was a tall order. Kudos.

I like I Love a Man. Brilliantly subversive love song.

It suffers largely in comparison with the first two Go4 albums. It also points in the direction of what "Hard" would sound like.

i think it's a great song. I just like making gay jokes to mask my own sexual insecurity. :shifty:

Not cool, man. Gay jokes should only be made to let faggots and dykes know that they don't count as real people.

Yeah, definitely. On its own, it's not a bad tune. The version on Return the Gift is badass.

Possibly controversial statement: Solid Gold > Entertainment!

While on the Gang, is there a CD that compiles odds and ends and B-Sides like Armalite Rifle and single mixes?

it fills me with more than a little rage that they left that track off the expanded Entertainment! disc. the U.S. version I mean, I think it's on furrin impurts. Like, why not just put the fucking thing on there?
