You mean the Joe Ely gig, where the Clash joined in?
There's a couple of photos of it on the inner sleeve for the 'Live Shots' LP (which apparently doesn't include any of the Clash content)
https://www.discogs.com/The-Joe-Ely-Ban ... se/1394912

And I've found this website, Austin-Hackney United (!) which has some extra info - the Live Shots LP was recorded at The Venue, but Joe Ely has some recordings from the Hope & Anchor gig which are 'album worthy'!!

http://austinhackney.org/predecessors/

(note to austinhackney.org - the pic of the Hope & Anchor is wrongly captioned - it's NOT in Hackney)

Yep all the above. I've got the live shots album on cd and no Clash. Just Mickey Gallagher on organ guesting on a couple of numbers. Would be nice if any encores that feature Mick or Joe could be released.

If I remember correctly on the original inner sleeve there is a picture of Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Joe Ely and another member of The Ely band at the Hope & Anchor.

How do these snapshots look?
I knew that LP of Live Shots would come in handy one day.
Inner sleeve pics showing Joe and Mick on stage, plus Mickey Gallagher and is that Topper bottom left in first pic

Another one shoring Kosmo, and guest vocalist who at first I thought could be Ellen Foley but it turns out from the sleeve credits is Carlene Carter

I'm not certain but the guy in the top pic with the glasses and beard looks like Sean Tyler of The Tyler Gang.

I remember seeing Joe Ely support the Clash at The Electric Ballroom back in 1980, the air con packed in or the heating was locked on and it was one hot gig !!
