Honestly? So-so.
I’m pretty picky too. I miss living within a mile of multiple quality Jewish delis.
I've found that eastside lox can't match what I can get in WA, and I've tried a lot. Pastrami, on the other hand...
I have a very controversial opinion... Montreal Smoked Meat > NYC pastrami.
Did someone mention pastrami?

Worthy screensaver.

Have you ever had navel pastrami? It is incredible. A bit more fatty that regular pastrami - but it's so good I can just sit there and eat it out of the package. I'm sure my heart doesn't appreciate it - but wow - it is fantastic!

Objection: Heston’s comes in a condom wrapper, and I suspect Westway meant a normal deli container.

I saw that. Kind of a crazy argument as to why they are not vegan. Thankfully, the gf doesn't care that I consume meat. According to her, I'm what they call a flexitatarian - which is someone who eats a mostly plant based diet with the occasional inclusion of meat.

She does try to sometimes lure me over to the vegetarian side by pointing out that Joe was a vegetarian (something I probably told her at one point)!

It has to do with the fact that farmers have to truck in bees to pollinate things like avocados and broccoli. It's a pretty insane argument - but since they're trucked in - they're used in a unnatural manner.

Joe wasn't really a vegetarian as he ate fish. I think pescetarian is the correct term.
