Sounds like the chorus of the damned being beaten with garbage cans - love it!

In honor/penance of EET WEEK 2018 I will spend 38:21 each afternoon looking at pictures of galvanized corrugated sheet metal on the internet:

It may seem a complete waste of time and evidence of a diseased mind, but eventually people will realize you're ahead of your time.

Me too. I like how it all sounds the same for three minutes. Add it all together and it's one solid, unified noise. The songs ending and the music becoming slowly more decipherable was fun too, particularly ending with those lonely This Is England chords.

What is a "catwalk jungle?"

The natural vegetation outside a human factory farm?

Non-joke reply: I always assumed it was an allusion to the appearance of the jumbled and rusted old walkways in an area full of abandoned factories.

In that case should it not be, "In a catwalk jungle?" As in a jungle of catwalks? Or do you think Joe may have meant "jungle catwalk", as in one of those rope bridge things Tarzan walked over?

No, I don’t. There is a line right after about a knife of Sheffield steel. The idea of England’s industries crumbling is throughout the song, and I assume there aren’t a lot of rope bridges in the industrial north.

Mainly because the locals cut them down and made them into soup and sandwiches, so the state stopped building rope bridges.
