I would still celebrate it if I knew when it was!
No one is sure but it was definitely the first or second Monday in June. That deadline has now passed so we are now living in a post-EET world.
My birthday always fell during EET week. I should’ve known.

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I can't promise that I will actually complete this thing but I will make a stab at it.

OK, this is the extreme irritation version, no vox. I may revisit and do something more CTC-like. I wanted to do something as crazy and unlistenable as possible first in honor of the master. It's more Metal Machine Music than Cut the Crap tho, really.

Warning: it's quite loud.

I gotta be honest, even I wouldn't listen to that horrible noise.

It sounds like the end of "Life Is Wild" on repeat.

Well done.

Anybody up for a listening party this year? we could do CTC and then F-Punk because why not.
I support this terrible, terrible idea.
I'm always up for a listening party.

No lie—it has a perverse charm. But, yes, more MMM than CtC.

Strummer '85's lyrics would be something like

Punks fight
Let's all fight!
Punks fight
Outside a nightclub
a lifetime serving one machine
Is ten times worse than prison

At least 70% of my music collection has lyrics like this too, actually.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Pex Lives!
