Some might like this. Earthquake Weather Remixed & Resequenced / Resequenced & Remixed. Flac & Mp3 320 in the files plus the two versions of the dreadful "Boogie".

Marky you are my hero! Cranking through this right now and it sounds so much better. I bought this album the day it came out and have always loved the songs, hated the production. I am one of those rare idiots that genuinely loves this record (I guess I like the cryptic mumbly side of Strummer). Passport To Detroit is my new favorite Strummer jam!! Holy hell your version cranks!

One criticism, no "Don't Tango with Django"? It was an instrumental b-side to Gangsterville on the 12" version.

Keep it up!
Thanks mate. Sadly "Don't Tango with Django" it's the one Joe track I don't have.

Thanks mate and I agree about "Passport to Detroit" I didn't care for it much before but this new mix rocks. Sadly "Don't Tango with Django" it's the one Joe track I don't have.

What Marky's mix shows is, that this record needed less overdubs. The songs didn't need loads of guitars with effects, the rhythm guitars carry the songs. If you could unpick the mix and only leave in the key decent solos, move the vocals forward, a far better record appears from the murkiness.

Yes mate we've been saying this for years here. If only I could have the separate tracks.

OK thanks to my pal and yours (laxman) and a quick remix and an edit to the artwork from me and hey presto!

Flac & Mp3 320 in the file.

I'd like the effects-heavy solo from Gangsterville gone altogether, but I will say Marky's mix is a vast improvement over the original. Thank you! Joe's vocals are so powerful before and after that interlude of wankiness.

I think it's hard on Zander but then Joe could've done something at the time. The guitar sound from Zander is completely wrong for most of the tracks. I wouldn't completely excise his guitar from the mix but I would mix it very low.

Listening carefully "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" on Rat Patrol From Hell W10 (Mick Jones mix), it seems to me that there is something wrong with the bass line between 1:25 and 1:27, as if it were out of tune.
In the final version on Combat Rock this bass line is below the drums and the guitar. Is it just my impression? :?:

Just played it back and I don't notice it. Sounds normal to me.

It's probably just my impression....

P.S.
I took your remix as an example because it is the clearest one, but the same impression applies to other versions (Another Combat Rock, Rat Patrol From Fort Bragg (2CD), etc. etc.)

All I hear is the bassline stop then start.
