Just a new set of (albeit superior) lyrics. I almost view it as a double A side.
The Clash: The B-Sides
Re: The Clash: The B-Sides
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Re: The Clash: The B-Sides
I think dance mixes, dubs, etc. are fair game.
I need to spend some time listening to a bunch of their dance mixes and dubs to see if there's any "there" there to a Clash Hot Take I'm in the early stages of developing: that their dance mixes are actually mostly better than their dub mixes.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

I remember digging "Mustapha Dance" at one time. Mick has probably ruined it for me by doing Mick things to it.

They were originally joined together. I once made my own splice of the two, I may have a dig around for it.

Got one in one of Marky's comps. It's good, but I'd rather just listen to Radio Clash. It's repetitive enough as is, don't need 8 minutes of it.

It's a bit off the wall but I like it. A Simonon song allegedly.

The way Joe's voice breaks on the second "run" is pleasing, could be classed as a sublime moment.

No!
I also like FNBIL. Again, Mick's guitar in it is the business.
