Marky. Any plans for Newcastle Mayfair 1980. Its not a bad sounding boot as is but could benefit from a little Marky Magic. Apologies for requesting and a further apology if you have already had a bash at it.

I'm actually remastering as I type. Fucking hell it sounds like the blitzkrieg! I've had a few nights like that.

When i come to thinking about it, that was probably the last time i seen any bother at a gig, barring a few single clowns at Oasis over the years. Mind you, between 77 and 80 there were a few hairy moments(Sham 69 and Upstarts come to mind) but on the whole the North East was calm compared to the South.

Lochem Festival nice! One of the first CD boots of the Clash I ever got, great recording, so-so performance. I just finished your version and really sounds good, great job again Marky

I'm trying to work out if Mickey Gallagher was with them or was he away on Blockheads duties for this one. I don't hear any organ in the mix.

Definitely no Mickey. I know this bootleg off by heart, even the stuff the crowd say in between songs.

Right. Mickey did January - April including Fridays, but excluding the LA Roxy gig a few days later. He came back for just the June 17 show at the end of the tour.
