Thanks for these! I've listened to the version of the US North from the new set over a dozen times and can't wait to hear what you two did with it. Also, I'll be listening to the busking show pronto. I appreciate them. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers buddy.

This one has demanded repeated playing the last few days. The CTC songs are perfectly acceptable and prove they could've been so much better than how they ended up sounding on the LP.

Is this from the upgrade Chuck posted recently?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Yep got it thanks. Only real interesting bit for me is the intro that is not really essential but fun to hear. It's been released a handful of times. The source for mine was the silver cd "Friday Night Saturday Morning". I'm not certain that the one posted by Chuck is much of an upgrade other than being more complete by including the short intro. I compared Cool Under Heat from Chuck's upload compared to mine and the only difference I can here is less hiss and little more bass on my remaster. Either way it's cool to have both. When it comes to listening to these old tapes/bootlegs etc it's all subjective really. My preference is for as clean and as sharp a sound as possible without losing too much live fidelity but it's always a compromise.

Thanks for the comparison. I was hoping for a fresher source, but i'll take your work!

Cheers Marky! The BAD is a great listen, too bad about Beatbox but still lovely to hear these songs in such good quality.

White Man shared this and I've cleaned it up. Sadly couldn't do much with the phasing on the first track but it's still a great listen.
