Nice to see a Northerner not dropping his "h". ;)

I think you have it wrong it isn't about Joe it is about changing London. He meets a guy from New Zealand (apparently based on a true story) which is significant because he is on the traditional 'OE' from the colonies and is looking for stereotypical London. Joe is trying to explain that those days are gone and London has moved on.
You're right, but we never really have had mushy peas in the South, everywhere north of Watford seems to, can we have another survey?
The guy is from New Zealand he is looking for the England he has heard about from his parents / grandparents and from watching Coronation Street. He presumes everyone wears a cloth cap and braces and eats mushy peas  .
Poor Kiwi. he'd have been better meeting Bill Oddie and getting some black pudding too. Mind you, we wouldn't have had that song.

I did a spot check here, and by points (ie 3,2,1) Rock Art gets 26%, Global 31% and Streetcore 43%. For such a small survey, I don't see the album or song results as significant - but that might be the statistician in me. However, what I do see as significant is the breadth of choice shown. I'd gladly take any dozen off of the list above and be happy with the diversity of the compilation.

This was tougher than I thought it would be considering there's only 3 albums of material.

1. The Road To Rock 'n' Roll
2. Shaktar Donetsk
3. Ramshackle Day Parade
