22/12/12
New to the forum, lifelong lover of Joe and everything Clash.
In less than a year the day it is 10 years ago since he left that unfillable void.
What will you do that day?
I really want to do something special that day. TFIU is a given. Crying and listening to Clash and Mescaleros too.

Re: 22/12/12
We'll have to see how the Year of Joe develops. If the long-rumored new releases come out it should be quite an active year and quite a run-up to his 60th birthday this summer. Plus a much better slate of tribute shows than the last couple of years and some new biographical material. Already shaping up to be a banner year for all things Clashica with Year 2 of the B.A.D. reboot likely to produce new material and more touring, so the Joe angle just makes it all crest. May even fish some new bootlegs out of the woodwork. Do check out the Sound of The Sinners subforum and the Clash, Joe, and Mick Megalist threads. Thanks to the hard work of a few members in cataloguing and uploading, and years of community contribution to collect everything together, we've made available virtually every known live tape in circulation in one convenient place.
Welcome to the forums. We're actually celebrating our 10th anniversary this year as well. It's a..."colorful"...and longstanding membership core here so you might not get some of the in-jokes or always find the dripping sarcasm and playful roughhousing to your liking. But it's a big tent here, a conscientious crew that feeds on interaction and comes for the good thoughtful dialogue (we never would've lasted 10 years without), and there's room for everybody and their niches. Bring your sense of whimsy and don't be afraid to dive right into the discussion.

I think Hoy drops the blackest lingo around here. Which always amuses me given his translucent skin tone.Wolter wrote:Are you forgetting about Khalil Mustafa Medulla X?BostonBeaneater wrote:We may be 'colorful' in spirit but its pretty white around here. I might be the blackest IMCT'er.
