Mike Watt and a tribute to Joe Strummer

Post by weller259 »

A live show appeared on Dime today, of Mike Watt doing a Joe Strummer tribute thing, here is the info file from the set. I did not download it but I did listen to a sample and the sound isn't bad at all. Head over to Dime during the free downloading days and grab it if you are interested.

Mike Watt - 2013 01 12 @ The Redwood Bar and Grill, Los Angeles CA

Mike Watt - bass & vocals
Tom Watson - guitar & vocals
Raul Morales - drums

This may have been seeded before, but this is a fresh transfer.

1 intro
2 Watt's opening words
3 1977 [The Clash]
4 Janie Jones [The Clash]
5 Remote Control [The Clash]
6 I'm So Bored With The USA [The Clash]
7 Hate & War [The Clash]
8 Career Opportunities [The Clash]
9 Complete Control [The Clash]
10 The Prisoner [The Clash]
11 Capitol Radio One [The Clash]
12 Clash City Rockers [The Clash]
13 Garageland [The Clash]
14 Three Girl Rhumba [Wire]
15 Ex-Lion Tamer [Wire]
16 106 Beats That [Wire]
17 Conspirator's Oath [The Red Krayola]
18 Amnesty Report [The Pop Group]
19 The Glory of Man [The Minutemen]
20 Forever / One Reporter's Opinion [The Minutemen]

Taper: KSegal
Master: loughney
Lineage: Core Sound bi-noral mics > Sharpe Mt877 MD
CSB Mics > Sharp MD Master
Transfer: Sony MZ-R55 Line Out > Sony A10 Line In > WAV [44.1 / 24] > SoundForge [levels, fades, raise bass] > CDWAVE [splits] > FLAC
From what I see there's still a little hope
That's if we don't hang from too much rope

20 years? My account info says I joined in late Feb 2004. It must have had a different name before that, because I was not an original.
