That's on spec.

One is for a theatre company's lobby art installation. I'm creating an illustration based on one of the fairy tales told in the script. This is technically a freebie on my part, but the art will be auctioned off at the end of the run with a portion of the proceeds going to the company and a portion to me.

The other is actually kind of funny. I made a humorous drawing for Ali's father last Chanukah based on the Bull and Bear of the the stock market (as opposed to Chicago sports).* The people at his office liked it so much that they want a bigger, more detailed version. And are willing to pay me for it.



*We were super broke last November/December, so our gift to the family was personalized, framed artwork - me drawing, Ali framing (she has a ridiculous amount of small frames in her possession).
