What's a patrot? Did I misread that?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I haven't listened yet as I'm waiting for the right moment but it's fantastic that we're getting some "new" Clash product, hopefully more to come.
You are like me I will wait for the package to arrive.

Dunno either. “Patrots is watchin’ newspaper’s been read” is what I hear, but doesn’t quite match his lyrics that are shown.

It's "patrol sits watching."

"Patrol" is right per Heston. There are a few lyrics that don't match up exactly, but cool they used his handwritten lyrics as much as possible.

I caved in and listened. I really like it, Joe is in good voice. I can imagine it would have been even more brilliant with a sprinkling of "Straight To Hell" style guitar from Mick. Oh what could have been...

Thought that “patrol” made more sense. Does sound like it now to me. Yes, cool.

I heard that snippet that was released when the release was announced but haven't listened to anything since I ordered it.

Nice I like the Bonneville 500 line. 35 bloody years too late though.

It's a fucking great drum sound and I love that fill by Pete at 3:09.

The overall sound with echo is brilliant. Now imagine the rest of CtC sounding like that with that production. It would've been great. A great stripped back sound should've been the way ahead. It beggars belief the cold turd we ended up with.

Seriously. That sound, but with some even half decent leads? Damn solid album.

Yep. I've listened a few times now and I'm really digging this. That last jarring chord by Joe at the end is a great touch as well, not sure if he meant it though.
