Amazon now has October 12th as the release date for the deluxe version (2-CD and book). The 2-CD version release date for Amazon is still October 5th.

Looks like the collectors edition is not available in the US unless you want to pay a fortune in shipping. Has anyone found anything different on this?

Is that the usual version of Rockin World from South Park CD?
Yes. It hopefully won't have the voiceover at the end.
The box set version is on Spotify now. It cuts off immediately at the end. It still has Isaac Hayes' vocals which are kinda cool, but also kinda take away from the song.
It also still has the sound effect of a bottle or something being thrown

That is a sound effect of someone falling off a skateboard. It ties in with the lyric.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Yes that was Guy Stevens falling off the skateboard.

That was really cool! Obviously a really embryonic version but Paul’s bass line is great, as is Pete Howard’s drumming!

The Mesky’s could have turned that into a dubbed out jamdown, surprised they never gave it a go.

Pretty neat. 80% or so same lyrics as the final song and good to see some disputed lyrics confirmed.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Sounds great! Seems like that clunky double-time thing they did live came later with the full-band arrangement.

I also like how the Crap version reproduced the cool drums. 😎

A great surprise after 35 years.
The greatest legacy he leaves is that he made a generation of people think for themselves. He didnt quite manage to change the world but he changed the way people looked at it. It's a sad day - but what a life

I haven't listened yet as I'm waiting for the right moment but it's fantastic that we're getting some "new" Clash product, hopefully more to come.
