It is pretty ridiculous that a singer of Joe's standing hasn't had his work curated yet. Especially when swathes of his music is lying out of print.

Its a pity because it would seem there is enough rare/unheard material there to make such a project interesting but guessing there is stuff going on in the background we dont know about that is getting in the way. Have a feeling the oncoming of one of the significant anniversaries might inject some much needed life into it, so maybe expect something to happen in 4 or 9 years time!

Curated is the buzz word on BBc 6Music when they are talking about someone choosing an hour or two of music. When I get in at night I don't 'curate' my music for the evening, and I never ever 'curated' a mix-tape for mates, I chose what I wanted to play and what I thought they needed to hear.

I think it's a crap word for use with music. It reminds me of something that belongs in a museum. Music doesn't belong in a museum. Anyway it's all Heston's fault the posh boy.

You are all savages. I didn't know how to spell anthologize and curate was the next best thing. Right, I'm off for a caviar sandwich.

Oooh, look what the Cambridge dictionary says...

To select things such as documents, music, products, or internet content to be included as part of a list or collection.

Fine smarty pants. Now off you go and listen to all your curations. While we peasants sit around the campfire and listen to these outdated compilations.

"I say Jeeves what do you have there?"
"Well Byron it's a fine curation of The Panic Report's greatest momments curated by Heston himself none the less."
"I say Byron that really is damn fine stuff."
"Yes Jeeves it's really rather splendid, hic!"
