It's a pity that the Bush administration didn't pursue the connection with Saudi Arabia given that, oh, all but a couple of the hijackers were Saudis. Too busy secretly flying Saudi royals out of the family on 11 Sept. A lot of stuff about that day and those leading up to it stink, but conspiracy theorists tend to be rather obsessive about finding oddities and inconsistencies in official explanations, then turn around and accept/promote alternate theories without comparable scrutiny.

What Hooks said. Seriously, with all of those mainstream news organizations you quoted that supposedly have this evidence, where is it? Why isn't it all over the BBC? The BBC is not exactly kind to Israel. Hell, I doubt even Al-Jazeera has broadcast those non-existant videos.

And nobody in the mainstream Jewish community takes Jews Against Zionism seriously. At the risk of sounding like a cliche, those people are self-hating Jews (I hate that term, but for that small minority of wackos, I think it applies). I'm not talking about prople who criticize Israeli policy...I've done plenty of that. I am talking about people who flat-out want to see it's destruction yet seem to look the other way when other countries participate in far more egregious offenses. I've never understood that -- the people who complain the loudest about Israel are usually the same people who don't say a peep about Darfur, the Roma situation, female genital mutilation, the fact that as a Jew I will never be allowed to even SET FOOT in Saudi Arabia (not that I would want to seeing how they oppress women and gays), the oppression of women, minorities and gays in other countries (Israel allows gay marriage for fuck sake, yet in Iran you can be executed for being gay)...the list goes on. I don't, and never will, understand this double standard.
