*snicker* You're sullying the good name of Richard Nixon by false association!
Ugh, he went to my alma mater? I hate my alma mater.
But you feel awkward about your Nixon tattoo now!
I have a Pat Nixon tattoo.

Congratulations—that might be a weirder fetish than Roger Stone's.

In the sheep pasture, I think.

People have got to know whether or not their president is an ejaculator. Well, I'm not an ejaculator.

Hunter Thompson was never better than when writing about Nixon:
Richard Nixon has never been one of my favorite people, anyway. For years I've regarded his very existence as a monument to all the rancid genes and broken chromosomes that corrupt the possibilities of the American Dream; he was a foul caricature of himself, a man with no soul, no inner convictions, with the integrity of a hyena and the style of a poison toad. The Nixon I remembered was absolutely humorless; I couldn't imagine him laughing at anything except maybe a paraplegic who wanted to vote Democratic but couldn't quite reach the lever on the voting machine.

well, they had one thing in common: 'caricature of himself'. i have a lot of sympathy for thompson though, but none for nixon.
