Wanna hear something hilarious? Remember when they broadcast Schindler's List on NBC back in, like, 96 or 97? (That's not the hilarious part). I was living in Salt Lake City at the time (that's part of the hilarious part), and instead of doing a feature beforehand on a local Holocaust survivor like every other city did, they did a feature on how Mormon persecution was similar to the Holocaust. And before you say, "JB, there's no way there were any Holocaust survivors in Utah," I actually knew one. Oh, the NBC affiliate in SLC is owned by the LDS church, BTW. They didn't broadcast SNL, either.

That was always my favorite part of snow days, summer vacation, weekends, and every weekday afternoon after 2:30: all the smack that was just laying around everywhere around town beckoning for my two bucks in weekly allowance.
