L&I is cancelling my wife's physical therapy. She can't use her insurance as a replacement while the claim is still open, but if she closes her claim, then she can't visit the doctor who performed the surgery in the first place. If you see a news report about mysterious nooses hanging from lampposts in Seattle, I'm just getting ready.
Fuck's sake, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope the barbarians responsible pay dearly one day soon. Awful bureaucratic bastards.
Aye. The US will always be a complete mystery to me in being so fundamentally contemptuous of people's health.

Well you don't get to keep the money if you have to pay it out for workplace injury claims...

I'm curious how the numbers break down re. the use of "fake news." How many use the term cynically—they know they're lying and use it as a discrediting tactic—and how many really do disbelieve reality when they don't like it?

Bitcoin value crashing! My word! Who would have thunk that? Why, I'm still trying to recover from the 17th c Dutch tulip bubble bursting.

Obligatory "all know each other" reference and I assume she isn't batshit and incompetent like her dad (or just batshit like her grandfather)?
