Did anyone catch the PETA bit on the Daily Show a few nights ago? Brilliant.

The judges could've played a Boris and Natasha skit on the jumbotron instead, so...progress.

Hmm...all those times I bought school lunch I thought "they must put missing kids on the sides of milk cartons because it works sometimes" I was being sold yet another lie by adult-kind.

While he is a doctor and all, I'd feel a little better if I heard Hitler's opinion on the matter before trading in my H-2 for a bicycle.

Uncle Ted also speaks English. Time for us to switch to Esperanto.

For the last day or two I've been fascinated with the blog Shakesville (which I'd encountered before, but was usually too repulsed by to spend any time at), but some silliness going on over there prompted me to dig into it a little (Kaleb and Wolter got a taste of it on Twitter the other day). Anyways, turns out there are anti-Shakesville blogs (of course there are, because The Internet) and I found this:

Shakesville is like the PETA of feminism. So insanely stereotypical, backwards, and unhelpful that it must be some crazy performance art parody or something.

I eventually decided that it's run by somebody with a really bad homelife and/or a personality disorder. It's just too mean and defensive and illogical, no matter the political angle.

I think it's run by someone trying to start a cult.

Isn't that a personality disorder?

Depends on how you view the notion of starting a cult, I guess.

I remember being called a racist back in the late 80s for not thinking Living Color were the greatest band ever. Seriously.
