WA state is about to start enforcing a law that requires paid sick leave for all employees, and reading the comments about it on L&I's Facebook post makes me absolutely convinced of how necessary it is.

L&I is cancelling my wife's physical therapy. She can't use her insurance as a replacement while the claim is still open, but if she closes her claim, then she can't visit the doctor who performed the surgery in the first place. If you see a news report about mysterious nooses hanging from lampposts in Seattle, I'm just getting ready.
