I'd caught a whiff of his comments, but I missed that it was all prompted by what was obviously meant to be essentially a rhetorical question by a (Jewish!!!) guest and Gutfield just... walked right through that door. Completely insane.

Watched it this morning. Certainly lays a deeper historical foundation for what is happening in the US right now, tho I think the documentary exaggerates the strength or popular appeal of American Nazism in the 30s. Like Communism, it was never as powerful as its critics imagine. The ideas that motivate both had heavy circulation at the time, but the number of adherents and members of organizations is not nearly as impressive.

When I first hear this on the news last night, they hadn't found it yet, I was hoping they'd arrest some tweekers trying to sell it for scrap. Surveillance video had a pickup truck leaving the scene, couldn't see any MAGA flags flying from the bed.

This outcome is so, so sad.
