I've read a couple of Lib-Dem MPs basically resort to "Bu...but...Labour!" trying to justify their breathtaking volte face, which seems a bit desperate.
Shadow home secretary Ed Balls warned that the Tories were using the Lib Dems as "human shields". "The Lib Dems have willingly become David Cameron's human shields, haemorrhaging support in the process," he wrote in Tribune magazine.

He continued: "Week after week it is Lib Dem Ministers like Danny Alexander and Vince Cable who find themselves in TV studios defending what are essentially Conservative policies in a predominantly Conservative Government. David Cameron must think Christmas has come early."

VAT up to 20% today. It's nice to know that almost everything's going to cost three percent more so banker's bonuses remain unaffected. They work hard. They deserve it.

If not for immigrants (you know, *wink wink* people who don't belong) ripping off the system, there wouldn't be any taxes. Stop blaming the rich and blame the real problem *wink wink*.

Apparently 120,000 Irish are making their way over to ruin Cameron's "cap" on immigration. Add into the bargain the fact that mostly anyone can and will move in from a European Union state, and it's a bad time for the slow thinking racist and funny accented scapegoat alike.

It's a funny thing that superficial differences like accent or skin tone are treated as more significant and meaningful than way of life, access to resources, and agenda. After so many centuries, that playbook still works all over the world. I actually have to give grudging respect to the powerful for maintaining their advantage that way.
