Holy shit, that's creepy.

Well, at least now we know who's gonna end up on Obama's next assassination list!

This is actually incredible news. I have been saying for years that me and like-minded people should be able to have a place where we could meet up and discuss our intentions with the full consent of the government. This would have to be the best way for me to finally organize my al-Qaeda bake sale, I have had this thing in the works since 1999 and wouldn't you know it, here comes the other al-Qaeda from out of nowhere to ruin our good name. We had nothing to do with what happened on 9-11 but thanks to them everyone thinks that we did, you can tell by the way everyone looks at us when we get on an airplane or subway car. Thank the Lord Jesus Christ that we can finally assemble in South Carolina to achieve our dream of selling lemon tarts and cheese danish dessert pizzas to our families and co-workers, and thank the Lord Jesus Christ that it only costs five bucks, anything over that amount would just be plain ridiculous.

Sounds like a stunt. I wouldn't trust state-minted and controlled currency anyway. If we're to do alternative currencies (which is a decent idea, actually) they'd best be grassroots and not mandated by state-level pricks rather than the normal federal pricks.
“You can’t put a set value on a pure silver or gold coin because it’s actual value fluctuates,” one expert said. “You can say a gold coin is worth $50 but it would actually be worth whatever the market says it’s worth, based on supply and demand. In reality, what you have is a bartering good, not a form of currency.”
That "expert" is an idiot.

I like the idea of getting rid of paper money. Uhh, not for those reasons though.

Do you sometimes confuse it with toilet paper and eat your weekly budget?

By the way, I once dated a girl from Laurens, SC. Having visited her hometown precisely ONCE, I am in no way surprised that a rep from there would be so asinine.

I wasn't aware that anyone forced you to reveal that you had eaten toilet paper.

But seriously, this Israeli guy I met in Beijing told me Israel was going to be going to plastic money in the near future which seems even better. But of course they would be on the cutting edge of those matters.

Plastic money? That's a terrible idea.

Hoy is thinking like an engineer. Nonbiodegradable and cheap, therefore it will last forever...

No. An Israeli (or really anyone that has half a brain) should know that reasoning is asinine.
