They're too fucking greedy to risk a general election unless they have to. Self destructive cannibals, yes, but not to the point of seeing a socialist in number 10.

A certain madness or dedication to principle can sometimes infect a party, where the true ideological opponent is seen as the lesser evil than the heretic within. It's fascinating when the desire to fuck over your party rivals leads to an unspoken or unconscious alliance with your ideological enemy.

I was also thinking of Canada in the early 90s, when the coalition Brian Mulroney created split up into Western social conservative populists, French nationalists, and a rump of big business traditionalists who were indistinguishable from the Liberals, who rolled into power without trying throughout the 90s and early 00s. Moments like that, it's a shame that seppuku never caught on over here.

So, any Limeys here willing to give odds on whether Brexit will come about or not?

My guess is that it will come to pass, but in an extremely watered-down version that it's an exit in name only.

I mean, EVERYONE is predicting that a full-strength Brexit will totally screw over the U.K. economy, right?

No idea, I lost interest at "Brexit means Brexit". Imagine if that was how all descriptions were worded in dictionaries.

Hey, where do you guys go to print stuff if you don't own a printer? Do you have a different name for print shops? I just need somewhere simple I can log on and print out some tickets but I can't figure out what search terms to use.

Just try Copycats Print Centre - Student Central, London
The Color Company - Cannon St, London
If you don't have any luck there, just look for any local house and knock on the door, the Brits are pretty friendly, we talk to anyone and would probably process your request

A public library?

That's what I use in the States to access a printer.
