15. He thinks Montreal bagels are better than NYC bagels.
NYC bagels are better but Montreal Smoked Meat TRUMPS NYC Pastrami.
Whoa. That's bold.

If you go to Montreal and don't hit Schwartz then you committed a very sad error.

I've only been to Vancouver and Calgary. Good dim sum in Calgary, at least.

So, some fun times for conservative media up here. We've had a Breitbart-esque site called The Rebel, which has pushed ugly xenophobia, anti-Semitism (even tho the founder, Ezra Levant, is Jewish), and conspiracy theories, the usual garbage. After Charlottesville and its own nasty coverage and "analysis," a few Conservative politicians announced that they would no longer grant interviews to it, which snowballed, with contributors leaving and blabbing about how things are done, more Conservative politicians openly denouncing it until it became toxic not to do so, advertisers fleeing, and now it lost its domain host (tho I believe its found a new one). It does seem like there's a possibility that the Conservative Party is actually taking an actual step back from the horrible crap that's grown more prominent on the right up here in the last decade or so. Can't help but think that Trump is the greater stink that is harming conservative cultural warriors rather than anything specific up here, so … thanks?

He's atrocious. Several years ago, he delivered a rant about Roma that sounded like a Nazi (text here). That he wasn't hounded out of the country, let alone continue as a media figure of some influence, is appalling.

He sounds delightful. Can I trade citizenship with him? He would fit right in with the current presidential cabinet.

I'd make that trade a zillion times before lunch.

He kind of looks like Gordon Gano from the Violent Femmes, who, if he did not enjoy a career as the lead singer of the Violent Femmes, would have likely been a serial killer.

The path not taken haunts us all.

121 pages, and the only time this thread has ever been true was during the life of my personal Mayoral role model.
