These guys really couldn't organize a softball game at a family reunion. Where was the tipping point when conservatives began revelling in their own incompetence as proof of competence? How did conservatives totally embrace some post-modernist insanity?

Yeah, the ascendency of Newt Gingrich, the true heir of 60s radicalism having finally made it on the inside. Listening to Republicans, it's not all that divorced from the domestic terrorism wing of the New Left (e.g., Weatherman). Revelling in chaos, treating the world as in a crisis moment, no one is innocent, the villainy of the opposition justifies any means.Silent Majority wrote: ↑11 Mar 2018, 12:48pmSomwhere between the Bushes in the US.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑11 Mar 2018, 12:47pmThese guys really couldn't organize a softball game at a family reunion. On an unrelated note, Canadian journos attempting to turn the Khalistan thing into a thing — most recently the Globe with Jagmeet Singh — is a hysterical turn of events.
If they really want to get into Indian politics, they might want to begin their tut-tutting with Modi and Gujarat.

Doug Ford effect plus Liberals bribing voters tightens the polls. If the Liberals can somehow make this election a referendum on Doug Ford (i.e., fearmonger the fuck out of things), I could see enough NDP voters and soft Tory voters pushing the Liberals over the line. How the Tories and NDP can't get their shit together, election after election, is all but criminal. Jesus Christ, this province.

Based on absolutely nothing, I think the best-case will probably end up being a Lib-NDP coalition.

That would be ideal in terms of forcing the Liberals to be less like the Liberals and give the PCs a chance to kick Ford to the curb, but the fact that Horwath has generated zilcho positive buzz going against two hateful leaders makes me think that NDP voters will abandon her if it seems possible Ford might win. But I do expect him to say enough stupid shit during the campaign to scare moderate conservatives/energize Liberals. The oppo research binder on Ford must be immense.

Look to your left, look to your right. Statistically, either one of them is a fuckwit or you are.

At the same time, the other day people got their gotch in a bunch because the environment minister said she has no time to entertain climate change deniers. Boo! She's ignoring the voters with her radical agenda!

Lots of questions, here.

Youtube has started advertising Alberta at me.
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .
