If you weren't anonymous and had established a reputation in Clash or Dumbassery-related posts first, I doubt this would occur. Note that the divisions among the regular posters are actually quite deep in matters of political opinion.

And as a left-libertarian fond of market anarchism, I do a lot of reading that skews to the right, actually. Of late I'm big on Rothbard who was at times left and at other times very right (he supported Buchanan for example). I'm friendly to liberals and conservatives alike while still rejecting their basic principles.

Same here. I'm dating a very liberal (in every sense of the term that I disagree with politically) woman and I frequently have lunch/attend ball games/drink/work with some very dyed-in-the-wool Republicans.

I don't go off on registered members very often (at least not seriously - kisses, Heston and Hoy). But anonymous posters who randomly hop on are fair game.

Some of my more salient genuine rebuttals of the original post, giving it more respect than it deserves:
  • There was NO complaint filed by any voter to the police regarding intimidation.
  • How would these people know who was voting for whom? It's a little tricky with a secret ballot.
  • Even if there was "voter harassment" in this single polling place by two people that may or may not have been acting under the directives of the (rather lame) current Panthers, I highly doubt it was even known to have occurred by anyone working in the Obama camp.

Fair enough. Appreciate you allowing me to express my views without the name calling.

With that being said, while I didn't vote for him I will give President Obama my full support--our country is in real trouble now and I think we need to work together and gets things going good again.
