They were either Baptists or members of some conservative Christian “mega church” sect. I try and stay away from anyone preaching on the corner. I don’t want to end up like Jeremy Spencer and turn into some creepy child molesting cult member.

How did the passengers and crew know she wasn't god? That's a helluva gamble over their immortal souls, if you ask me.
