No fucking way I'm voting for him now. :hmph: :shifty:
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .

Deep down, he's a Red Sox fan. He went to Harvard and his cool rationality reflects that of the Red Sox ownership and front office.

I dunno, man. I've never seen him at one of our traditional Blood Sacrifices of the Minorities, and the Red Sox are built on that sacred custom.

That's another point in his favour. The Red Sox prefer non-American tanned athletes—mostly Dominican—and that Kenya-Kansas mix makes him black looking, but lacking the authenticity to enrage the local Irish and Italians. You never hear BeanEater go on about wanting to chase Obama out of town with a baseball bat, but substitute his name with Rosa Parks and BBE goes nuts.

Yeah. He's lived in Bronzeville/Hyde Park for years. They're all pretty much White Sox fans there.

Well, I will say this: there are a lot of Cubs fans that I don't much care for, so that wouldn't way me anyway.

Offhand, I could list quite a few and what I feel about them:

Celebrity Cubs Fans (L = like; D=dislike, I=Indifferent):
Bill Murray (L)
Jim Belushi (D)
Bonnie Hunt (I)
George Will (D)
BIlly Corgan (D)
Eddie Vedder (I)
George Wendt (L)
John Cusack [depends on whether the Sox or the Cubs are doing better] (I) {used to be L, but I've heard horror stories about him as a person - also, he's BiSoxual - BOO}
Dennis Franz (L)
Hillary Clinton (D)
Gary Sinise (L)
Jeff Garlin (L)

There's probably a lot more, but these are the ones I know offhand.

I made that list for no real reason.

She also claims to be a Yankees fan (that came out around, hmm, 2000). My guess is that she's never enjoyed watching a game of baseball in her life.

It's like she wants me to think she's evil.

Depends on what you think is worse—self-conscious evil (say, Cheney) or amoral naked opportunism (Hillary). It really is a pick 'em for me.
