Just not in the boobs.
Whatever you say, Mr. No Such Thing As Prototypes.
I'm not being an absolutist. I'm suggesting that on some topics—and in this case sexuality—I'm quite dubious. Take photos of, say, twenty sets of notably different breasts (or butts or cute) and tell a person, which looks most like boobs (butt/cute) to you, I'm doubtful that there'll be a meaningful result.
You're saying it's too subjective?

Explain this, then:

I've heard about that primal instinct in pattern recognition and I don't deny it, but I'm not sure where you're going with that. Would you say that culture or ethnicity play no role in such things? Would someone from, let's say, the Amazon jungle, Sweden, India, Kenya, Japan, and Nunavut all have the same responses—that is, pick out the same photos—to boob or butt or cute girl?

Whether these ideal ratios and patterns are culturally or genetically determined is irrelevant, but I'd argue they exist.

So are you saying that it cuts across ethnicities and/or cultures? That they'd all identify the same?

No. I don't even imply that. But you are a white speaker of English of a North American dialect, correct?

Just making sure. Okay, so there isn't some essential prototype of boob or butt or cute girl that all humans share.

Yes.

Of course not. Boob, butt, and cute girl do not have existence as prototypes outside of the minds of native English speakers.
Yes.
Just checking. You sure you aren't a cabbage?

I'm referencing Discordian scripture.

But anyway, elucidate the grounds you had for questioning Tepista's likely implications for the word tits (or it may have been boobs, don't remember). For one thing I don't see how on context one could construe it to mean unattractive (in the average) tits.

I honestly don't recall the specifics. Something to with him (I think it was Tep) mentioning all boobs being good and me saying not always. From there it was asserted that boobs could only mean young, pert, and perfect. I digressed and got labeled someone who needs permission to think of young firm breasts.

Apparently it was me.

I still think that by the context of my comment, what I meant by "boobies" was obvious.

Not as compelling as boobies.
Depends on the boobies. Old lady, fat lady, fat guy boobies trigger my gag reflex.
You know what kind of boobies I mean. Do you have to be so fucking Canadian? We're talking about breasts.
In the context, it is entirely clear that Hookworm was clearly being excessively Canadian.

By the way, the Invisible Hand of the Market has clearly been groping around trying to find boobies.

Probably enraged Hooky since he doesn't like boobies.
