Homage to Catalonia 2

With the general strike, seems like there's going to be an independent Catalonia soon. Heard word that Rajoy is looking to deploy military on top of the thuggish Guardia Civil. Anybody want to stitch some red and black neckerchiefs and continue our replay of the 1930s?

It's amazing the extent that post-Francoism is still Spain's natural go-to. I remember when I lived there, my boss told me that the bureaucracy and civil service is still completely rammed with fascists because its illegal to fire them. They get a kind of tenure after a time.
