Statement from former US Attorney Preet Bharara (who put D'Scumbag away): ”The President has the right to pardon but the facts are these: D’Souza intentionally broke the law, voluntarily pled guilty, apologized for his conduct & the judge found no unfairness.”
...but hey...let's set him free! Take that, Liberals, for getting Roseanne kicked off of the TV...

He already is free. He has another movie coming out that will show that liberals are the real Nazis.

I honestly didn't know that much about him (didn't really want to) - but after just browsing his Wikipedia page - wow - what a complete waste of space...

There's something absolutely hilarious when awful people who treat others as disposable, who use threats and smears without a second thought, feel betrayed when their former partners do it to them. But I suppose when your worldview is that the rules don't apply to you, you figure your asshole buddies wouldn't also treat you like chum. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/michael-co ... ng-on-him/

Funny how this observation keeps returning to my consciousness.

And looking at some people in my Facebook feed, I know who would and would not hide me in their attic.
That aphorism about ignorance of history leading to its repetition is being proven to be bullshit. It's not about ignorance but wilful denial of the past, to declare that it doesn't apply to the current attitudes and behaviours. It's simply a matter of denying the humanity of others; everything else follows from there.

Very well said. The key word is "wilful" because there is a choice being made. Pleading ignorance is a crummy excuse. It really is a matter of denying the humanity of others. I'm just tired of hearing about this in terms of us and them. There is no us and them. You either believe we share a common humanity or you don't.
