Thanks to Beaneater signing me up for the Trump mailing list (and me not having a reason to unsub), I can report that he's really pounding for money these days. Two or three emails a day for the past week reminding me that I still haven't ponied up.

Would Canadian money even count in his eyes?

My understanding is that he prefers foreign currencies, provided they can be sufficiently obscured.

He's raised more money than any first term POTUS up to this point...

Even if he knew how to pronounce it correctly …

(When I was, I dunno, ten, my social studies class learned the names of the countries of Central America. What will stick with me until I stroke out is that one kid pronounced Nicaragua as nih-care-ah-GOO-ah. To this day, I read it and his voice pops in my head. Less funny—and I realize this now as an adult—the teacher laughed at him, and not in a good way. He was kind of dumb, from a fucked-up family, and was being mocked by the adult in the room. Shitty.)

I thought Steve Harper would be a few years older than you.

Ha! There is no doubt in my mind that Harper was bullied for being a weirdo kid, and his monstrous, vengeful politics has been the end result. His post-party politics eruptions have also shown him to be quite tolerant of Trump.

Good to see another Trump fully embracing the concept of "executive time"
