Guy I used to work with made a good chunk of change off of Tesla stock and now I don't work with him anymore. Anyway, I periodically check his twitter because he is just a massive Elon fanboy and it's fun to be disgusted by him. I was curious as to his take on the re-brand and he hasn't chimed in yet.

I did find out he is a huge RFK Jr. supporter though.
I'm somewhat impressed he didn't lose all his money in NFTs, from the sounds of him
Not sure. He only tweets about Tesla stock/Elon and now RFK Jr. And as doc predicted, a Rogan clip about RFK Jr. Dude is probably in his late 50s/early 60s. My old Brooklyn Italian septuagenarian boss thought the guy was an idiot and called him “schmucko.”
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

 When an old person bestows upon you the name schmucko, the universe is telling you to look hard in the mirror.

Maybe a coincidence—I'm always skeptical about these kinds of claims of coded messages—but coming off the heels of his antisemitic covid bullshit, this does cause a "whoa" in me: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/robert-f ... e2f29310ba

Seems a stretch, especially since he seems to be barely functional but maybe. If so tha would be pretty much a complete 180 from his dad.

If nothing else, he's more than lost the right to a presumption of good faith or innocence on shit like this. I mean, these guys stock and trade is hyping up weird imagery and "connecting the dots" and whatnot. I don't think it's a bridge too far to contemplate his own output under the same lense he himself affords the rest of the world.

I think that's it. He's been trafficking in so much bullshit that, as distasteful as it is to consider, those people do play around in contemptible symbolism. And at this point, the idea that he wouldn't play footsie with neo-Nazis can't be discounted.

Well, maybe all this will finally kill whatever nostalgic magic the Kennedy name has.

I also feel like even if he didn't mean anything by it and the 1488 was entirely coincidental (which I'm not so sure), white supremacists are certainly excited about it.

This is true. Energized Nazis is never a good thing.

Doubtless Republicans upset about Trump's many indictments will rally around Menendez to say, "See! The system continues to persecute noble public servants!"

Make sure your most valuable papers aren't in danger of being blown around by a very expensive breeze?

Don't care which party you belong to, you were elected to represent the people, not line your pockets. Lock 'em up!
