Bloodshed in Paris this evening

PARIS (AP) — Two police officials said at least 26 people have been killed in shootings and explosions around Paris Friday, in the deadliest violence in France in decades.

Europe is heating toward a boil. I am sort of expect so hardcore xenophobic violet reactions to this one.

the hostage situation is at the legendary Bataclan Theatre. i just last night listened to the famous Dolls show from there broadcast on Radio Luxembourg in '73.

The Eagles of Death Metal were playing the Bataclan that night.
people are, via cellphone, begging the police to storm the theater, as the terrorists are killing people one by one.

a French music journo who was at the gig was there when it started is talking now; says when he escaped via the stage he saw 20-25 bodies on the floor around the stage.

This will really do a lot of good at furthering that whole exit strategy thing that extracts the West from participation in pointless wars that create 10x as many terrorists as end up being killed.

Also: heaps more tension about the refugee situation Europe is facing is exactly what the doctor ordered right about now.
