A candidate for me.

Post by eumaas »

So I was reading Paranoia, a magazine that publishes conspiracy theories both plausible and hilarious, and read an article by a Mr. Jackson Grimes that holds that
>The Earth was a colony planet of the Kutasorian Empire, a group of space cat people
>The Kutasorians made black people to be miners, asian people to be living calculators, and white people for no disclosed purpose
>The Kutasorians tried to kill off the white people by exiling them to Hyperborea, but the white people built rocket ships and crap and fought them until the Kutasorians attacked them with space lasers
>In 2012 (obviously), the Kutasorians are coming back

Now the reason for my catchy thread title is that immediately after, there was an ad asking the reader to vote Jack Grimes in as president in 2008, who is running as part of the United Fascist Union

I came to the conclusion that at last I had found a politican who is upright and honest in his pre-election promises. And that I had to run a grassroots campaign.

I am calling on my fellow net Discordians to help in this venture. At worst he'll get 2 more far right people to vote for him. At best, he'll react to us and spout craziness and be entertaining for a bit. The side effect of bringing to light his similarities to more legitimate candidates is still unstudied, but should be interesting

So, without further writing from me, here is what I've found on Mr. Grimes (what a cool name for a fascist presidential candidate)

http://joanne21921.tripod.com/ This is his current campaign site. It is a tripod site. It is not 1997. Also, picture of him in a Roman helmet.

http://www.ufu.gq.nu/ This is the website for the United Fascist Union. More hillarity

http://www.paranoiamagazine.com/jackgrimes.html An interview with him by the above Paranoia magazine.

I see a lot of potential here. Post any ideas to aid the project here or e-mail them to the gmail account I just made to ensure that my name does not become associated with fascism, benitoisneato@gmail.com

I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .
