Breaking up a violent street brawl between Col. Harlan Sanders and Orville Redenbacher in a quiet suburban residential neighborhood. They were shouting "You stole my glasses!" at each other before the fists and canes started flying. I kept pleading, "You guys...the cops are gonna show up!" with increasing desperation, to no avail. There was a crowd of people gathering, cheering them on.
Redenbacher was suprisingly spry against a much bigger larger opponent brandishing a blunt object. And bitey.
I did burn some microwave popcorn last week, but it's been ages since I've had any fried chicken.

To me at least, it was about desperation...trying to separate those two without getting my eye gouged out by a cane or long fingernails before Officer Lou showed up, tasered them, gave them both heart attacks, and a viral picture started circulating on the internet of a confused me standing between the bodies of two nonagenarian brand personifications...surrounded by a crowd of gawkers and cop cars while the officers huddle on their radios to get their stories straight. And then probably some SJW Twitter hashtag being born within hours that forces me to go in hiding.

Last night I dreamt about trying different varieties of tea, and reviewing each of them.

Re: Thread of Dreams
I had the most annoying dream of my life the other day. I was in a holiday camp style bar, eighties style design, with my Dad who gave me fifty quid to order a round of drinks. The bar staff spoke only Spanish and I ordered in that language. I got change back from a tenner instead of what I needed. I explained, unsure of what Spanish word was for fifteen and what for fifty. I stood there and argued the point best I could, trying to get my change, and then the bar started closing down. I continued to argue and before I got the right change I woke up. I so wanted to go back to sleep to try and get my forty pounds.

Re: Thread of Dreams
When I was around fourteen or fifteen, I spent a fair amount of time on my sister and brother-in-law's farm, including harvest. Driving the combine isn't hard—follow the line of swath and keep checking to make sure nothing has become plugged—but it's monotonous as fuck. That's bad enough, but that's all I did in my dreams, too, during that time. Chugging along at, like, 15 kph and regularly craning my neck backward to look for jams, awake and asleep.BitterTom wrote:It's worse if you're screwing up at work in your dreams as well...Kory wrote:Meanwhile, there's nothing worse than dreaming about work, then having to go there when you wake up.

Re: Thread of Dreams
Had a very long boring dream where I was late and couldn't find where I was supposed to be. It is a recurring dream and probably due to my hatred of being late for anything.
In the dream I am always in the building but can't find the right room (which is usually via a toilet as I am busting for a piss then I wKe up busting for a piss).
