City Councilor Dennis Carlone said he was at a community meeting recently when people told him that they were being harassed by turkeys. When Carlone walked out of that meeting, he happened to come face to face with the enemy.

“It was like the turkey was waiting for me,” he said. “They’re clearly strategizing."

I had an English prof as an undergrad who was funny as fuck. He once told the class of his first, almost girlfriend. (Keep in mine he kind spoke like Thurston Howell.) So he grew up in Winnipeg and this girl lived on a farm just outside the city. He borrows the family car to pick her up. "I pull into the yard and get out to go to the front door. And a mob of turkeys surrounds me. I ran back to car, climbed in and drove off. Never saw her again."
