Some say it's unsanitary, I say it's a false flag operation by one of those Dr. Hoy Poop Bank operations that wants to make money stealing your stool gremlins to grow in their petri dishes.

Kennedys really do think they own that town.

Somebody in the MassDOT sign department has way too much time on their hands. I was driving the Pike through Newton yesterday and saw portable electronic signs placed like every 200 ft. with not-very-punny messages about how "wicked freakin' bad" traffic was gonna be when the lane closures started.
Meanwhile, everybody stuck behind yesterday's tractor-trailer rollover on the I-93 decks is fuming, "You call that a cahmahgeddon, pussies?!?"

My biking route is on a parkway—two-lane, green space, no traffic lights, not heavy traffic most of the time—and the frequency of coming across a sock is greater than just chance. What's happening that a sock is lost or purposefully rejected while driving on the parkway?

I wiped my ass with a white sock on a trail in Maine and left it there.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑26 Jul 2018, 2:04pmMy biking route is on a parkway—two-lane, green space, no traffic lights, not heavy traffic most of the time—and the frequency of coming across a sock is greater than just chance. A friend when I was an undergrad—genuine redneck farm kid—once told a bunch of us a life tip, right out of the blue one day. If you're ever ice fishing and have to drop a deuce, just use your underwear to clean up. You can leave it behind and after the spring thaw, all the evidence sinks to the bottom of the lake. That the advice came unbidden—no one was talking about ice fishing or bowel relief—is what keeps it in my memory.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑26 Jul 2018, 2:08pmI wiped my ass with a white sock on a trail in Maine and left it there.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑26 Jul 2018, 2:04pmMy biking route is on a parkway—two-lane, green space, no traffic lights, not heavy traffic most of the time—and the frequency of coming across a sock is greater than just chance. Apparently I live 8 blocks from the most meta-famous horribly dated 1980's pizza chain location in the world. Who knew?
If you'll excuse me, ima go get me a hot date with a townie who's got cursive writing tattooed all over her lower neck. Then take the extra breadsticks with us to the bathroom to trade for fentanyl.
Maybe get shot in the parking lot afterwards, too...play it by ear.
