In 1963, the Owls in their first season under Coach Chuck Curtis won 13 games, including a playoff finals victory over Corpus Christi Miller, 17 to 0, for the state championship.

My wife went to Corpus Christi Miller. Now I can tease her about how they choked in the 63 city finals.
